I am currently in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I was at one of the cafe called ‘Ali Cafe’ which was around Nusa Bestari area. I was going through the menu and i was shocked by the prices of their food. 1 pack of nasi lemak (worse than the ones that people sell on the road side) costs RM4.90!!! That is just too much. I hope someone can do something about this. It’s unacceptable.
Sir I have recently purchased a Panasonic home telephone receiver set model KX-TS560ML. I have paid RM168 for this set on 8/11/11.
I also found the same model in another shop and the price is RM88/-
I wish to know why such a difference in prize?
Do I have an avenue to lodge my complaint?
Sir, this afternoon, i had lunch with my collegues at NAGA’s Jalan Putra (near Pwtc). I had to pay RM7.50 for just one piece of chicken , a table spoon full of long beans and half rice. Upon checking , a piece of chicken cost RM5.50. i have the bill with me if u need prove. its just a restaurant by the river side. its this the standard pricing. Would apprecite if u could check on this
Jusco mix rice the price it’s really expansive,I get 1pcs fish,2pcs small tafu n littlebit of kangkung.she charge me for rm8.50?this it’s not only with me,with my friends also same.my friends already gv a complain.but the price still the same.if u all nvr take action with this problem I will go n scold the staff everyday.
I believe one of the reasons that consumers always been bullied by retailer is because of lack of information regarding products price. Therefore, most of the consumer in Malaysia go shopping blindly without knowing the reasonable price for goods or services and always become a victim especially in certain product category such as car spare part and hardware. Another reason is they don’t know where they can get a cheaper product or service. Consumers in Malaysia have been force to learn through the hard way in order to make a price and shop comparison by dropping from shop to shop. I myself also stuck in this kind of situation. Something has to be done to stop this. In that case, starting from last year, I struggling myself to create a platform where consumer can share with other consumer information about products and services that they bought especially price. This platform that I create is a website or portal known as harga.my. This portal is supposed to be “from consumer to consumer “(c2c) information sharing platform. Perhaps, by sharing information about product that we bought might help others to make a better choice. This is a new portal, so, please help me to help others and our self by posting product information and share it with our friend and relative through social media. Yet, I still in the process to perfecting this portal, so, pardon me for any bugs and imperfection of this portal. I hope, this small effort might bring a positive impact for us. Together, we can succeed. Cheers!!

I am writing to you with regards to the high prices of “coffee shop” food in Kota Kinabalu(KK) Sabah. The price for a bowl of noodle has risen to RM 7.50 to RM 8.50 in most coffeeshop in KK Sabah. These prices are even higher than some restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. With the standardization of price between peninsular and west Malaysia announced by our PM, there should be anymore price differences in our country. However, traders always use the same excuse of transportation fee to increase their prices. I am wondering if there is any government bodies or NGOs that is monitoring these unscrupulous “coffee shop” owners here in Sabah? If there is, is there a way for us consumer to notify them?
7 Dec 2013, I went to restaurant in Yashika at Viva Home for lunch. I notice their food reduce and I feedback to them. They explained the set i order is a lesser compared to A la carte which I feel this is not right. As a customer perception set should be a value set instead of a smaller size. In addition, they don’t even highlight and mentioned in the Menu. I felt i have been cheated. Can I do anything if this happen?
